Grave of the fireflies

Made a random search in google after watching the batman superman cartoons(:D). A sudden thirst for anime’s. Found a poster and checked imdb. The two-liner impressed me and got it in the dld list the very moment.

Simply a cute one. Dunno where I would start. Watching this movie, you might/’ll cry, you ‘ll adore, you ‘ll enjoy, you ‘ll feel sorry for whatever’s going on the screen. A neat anime with good dubbing. Since this is a Japanese one, can’t expect the BGM part. Lacked that area where many other movies succeeded and brought down the tears. The time of WWII, in the lands of Japan, amidst which a cute yet sad story springs. The life of thousands of Japanese was put out in just one night as that of the fireflies. Which explains the title. Movie is slower but if you have patience and eye for colorful, pleasing anime’s go watch it.

Requiem for a dream | requiem for my day ?

Total chaos  day! Clock: 1000 hrs – Dentist – nothing happened -waste of time. Clock: 1045 hrs – Harry potter – nothing happened – nothing understood – waste of time. Clock: 1415 hrs – Staff marriage – things happened – took my mood out – total waste of time. Clock: 1600 hrs – Requiem for a dream – terrible movie – good intention though – any how again waste of time. Clock: 1820 hrs – writing this – power pfff . Clock: 1855 hrs – Resuming.  Ain’t the title apt? 😛 Finally talking about the movie …

It’s about where drugs could take you. Even in the form of unauthorized weight loss pills. Dare to drug after watching this XD. Terrible to watch. Slower as well. But direction was good. Some new-for-me kinda screen play. Still shots motion kind of. SO? Movie Not recommended :p

Watched this movie today. Prabhu- I admire u now. Not so when it was ur other movies- ladam, lee.  Even though they were a better attempt. And sure every one is to say hats off for ur effort. SO I do not wanna repeat the same from my side 🙂

Four things I liked about the movie: locations, camera,MUSIC and the heroine 😛  3 hours of chillness and greenness I was into.  Apart from that, first half was little boring or rather felt why did they boast off that much since it was okay kind of. Second half was damn. Felt same as one guy quoted in TCC. “Eppadida padathe mudike pore?” since it was wavering from a happy incident to tragic. As expected the heroine dies at the end. But what the hero did made me like the movie much. Even I would have done the same in that situation. To add toppings, the rest of the movie was good and received applause from the audience.

summing up, watch the movie. Try it in theatre if u can. Encouraging such movies is a good thing.

yiap! Watched two today and both turned out to be worth the time.  Just like two decks of cheese inside of the burger!

Two things that made me like this movie are: 1.,2. Reflections of two of my wishes. One- to go cross country biking. Two- PAUSE. Before that, if you know or not, this movie is a dramatic version of one part of Ernesto ‘CHE’ Guevara’ life. PLAY. SO the thing is I, deep inside my heart- atleast in some hidden corner, have the idea to revolutionize the current system-politics. ‘Che’ after watching people facing injustice went into some sort of rebellion stuff which I am not aware of 😛 Apart from this, the colors were good. Pleasing to watch the movie. Meaning, no strain. Nothing else to deliberately specify. Do watch it folks.

I do not know which language it belongs to 😛 Just watched it. The only thing to brag about the bestness of this movie is the CONCEPT. Which is, ‘How life could change in a split second’ . Brilliant narration by the director. Even though I was confused about the shifts in between the occurrence’s, which you ll learn when you watch it, at the end managed to cope up. The run time is very short which might have added pace to the gripping screenplay. Again ,watch this as well 😉

Since this is my first post I didn’t want to handle an acclaimed movie. Let me keep it simple. And am also not gonna review the movie here. Just putting what I wanted to say  if you are ever gonna watch this!

First off, the casting is WoW! Every single actor is really adorable.  I especially liked Tami (oops! let the secret out ). Second off, the movie is never boring at any part of its run length. So obviously you should like it. Above the average choreography and both the leads have done it well.  Final word is if you are looking for a breezy feel good rom-com(PS: comedy: yes! Good at some parts! ) movie  go for this!

Just like many other newbie bloggers Sarath too is running out of ideas. Blog is lying dormant for so long. Soon ll try to be active. Not that easy to maintain a blog. I understand. I was hunting blogs on how they are crafted? and with what? this evening, So that I could mimic some of the coolest of ideas. And oh fck! that was a sucking day with a determined attempt to clear the arrear examination 😀 seriously it sucks! Ask one who has gone through that pain in the a&*.

Actually speaking I didn’t get anything worthy. And didnt take pains to surf even. I read about this guy Prashant john in The Hindu two days back. He was and is a blogger for time pass from his college days. Suddenly got a flash and thought of peeping into his blog and was surprised.

First Tweet From Space Isn’t Really From Space

Astronaut Mike Massimino has sent the first tweet from space, making all the rocket buffs green with envy I presume.

You can follow Mike yourself for more in the future (also: Techmeme). However, don’t get too worked up by getting real-time twittering from Space, because that’s not how it works. A NASA spokesperson told that the space shuttle doesn’t have an ever present internet connection. So what Mike does is that he writes an email that gets sent to Mission Control whenever the shuttle has a connection, and then the folks there update his Twitter account for him.

Then what does it mean to say  ” it isn’t really from space?”. Anyway the email was from space! Do not know what really happened 😛
